DALLAS (Dallas Business Journal) – Trammell Crow Residential’s new $19 million apartment project could help with efforts to transform an area neighborhood.
The local developers are planning the four-story, 200-unit Alexan Trinity apartment complex at Beckley Ave. and Zang Blvd. on the northern end of Dallas’ Oak Cliff neighborhood.
Dallas’ economic development department sees the project as a key part of the city’s plan to revitalize the Oak Cliff gateway. The city is investing $36 million in improvements to public infrastructure, environmental remediation, and pedestrian linkages and lighting.
Trammell Crow expects to break ground on the Alexan Trinity in February. The project is slated for a June 2014 completion.
